Mission Statement
The mission of the Lakeshore Neighborhood Communications committee is to provide an effective, accurate, clear, timely, and open communication channel between the Lakeshore Neighborhood Homeowners Association (HOA) Board and community residents. The Communications Committee will strive to communicate to the community residents all HOA Board updates/minutes, community-wide concerns, community events, and local news relevant to the community (e.g., crime). Members of the Communications Committee will utilize all available means of communication including but not limited to the Facebook community group, e-mail listserv, physical flyers posted in common areas and mailboxes, and word of mouth. The Communications Committee will strive to maintain the anonymity of residents when a concern is brought to the HOA Board. The Communication Committee will work to maintain respectful, engaging, and compassionate communication between the HOA Board and community Residents. Through these efforts, the Communication Committee will support the safety, sense of community, and beauty of the Lakeshore Neighborhood.
Communications meets monthly via Google Meet for 30 minutes to an hour. Currently the committee meets on the third Thursday at 6:30 PM.
